DensiS Dense-Hard 1500™ Sodium Silicate Densifier is a medium grade water based, penetrating sodium densifier which has been specifically formulated to strengthen and harden the concrete. It provides a surface that will be more resistant to wear, chemicals and dusting. Due to the products unique feature, it has excellent penetration, good dry and through cure. DensiS Dense-Hard 1500™ Sodium Silicate Densifier 20L is suitable for use on concrete surfaces and exposed aggregates, and also an excellent choice for polishing concrete.
Direction For Use: In general, surface to be treated MUST be clean and free of all traces of loose material, dirt, debris, mildew, oil, grease, old coatings, curing compounds, release agents, laitance and other contaminants, and any moisture. Protect any adjacent areas by masking to avoid splashes or overspray onto surfaces not intended to be treated. DensiS Maxi-Hard 1500™ Sodium Silicate Densifier is ready to use and should be used when the surface is completely dry. Shake container well to ensure thorough mixing.
Application: Low-Pressure Spray, Lint free Epoxy Roller or Brush.
Coverage: 4 – 10m2/L depending on porosity, softness of substrate, and application methods.
Dry Times: Dry Time: 2 – 8 hours, Light Foot Traffic: 6 – 12 hours, Full cure & vehicular Traffic: 24 hours. All drying times depend in temperatures, humidity and application methods. Do not apply outdoor if rain is imminent.
Clean Up: Clean all equipment with Water. Refer to the technical data sheet for more information.
